Hotel chandeliers are customized, which is the hub for guests to get in and out of the hotel, and also an important place to show hotel grades and attract guests. The functional partition of hotel lobby space mainly includes reception hall, service desk and guest rest area, etc.
Reception hall
The reception hall, as the main entrance and exit place of the hotel space, mainly adopts the basic lighting mode. Pay attention to the following points:
(1) according to the decoration requirements, large chandeliers, lanterns and other personalized lamps are generally provided to show the style of the hotel;
(2) The illuminance in the reception hall is required to show the nobility of guests, and registration and other reading and writing activities should be carried out in the hall, with the illuminance value not less than 300Lx. It is recommended to increase dimming equipment for hotels above four stars;
(3) The general lighting adopts embedded downlights for all over the sky;
(4) Dark-slot lamps are permanently installed around the pillars and by the walls to support the ceiling empty;
(5) Three-star hotels should set up road signs to guide customers where to go.
Service desk
As a window of service exchange, it occupies the most important position in the lobby. In terms of regional functions, in order to meet the needs of writing and communication, its illumination requirements are often higher than other areas in the lobby.
The general service desk can generally choose the following lighting methods:
(1) Downlights can be arranged in rows and columns on the ceiling;
(2) A derrick downlight is set above the counter;
(3) There are light signs above the counter of each service item, such as registration office, inquiry office, currency exchange office, etc.;
(4) Desk lamps or lamp strips installed on counters are installed in the service desk;
(5) There is a small dark slot lamp at the bottom of the outside of the service desk;
(6) The area of the main service desk is visually separated from the hall by using zoning lighting.
